My Health/Fitness Routine

I wanted to share what I've been doing to stay healthy and in-shape during this confusing time. Let me start off by saying, I'm not a professional or a nutritionist but, I wanted to share what is working for me and showing results. It's so easy to choose what we want instead of healthy alternatives or to stay in bed and feel guilty and put off physical activity until tomorrow. Trust me, when quarantine started it was rough. I used to be a gym rat and now I would have to do a home workout. Yikes. So I had to completely change my routine. I'm not into downloading programs or watching someone show me moves. I stick to cardio, abs, butt, and legs. I have a Pinterest board dedicated to fitness and have different workout plans. So, there you go, my workouts I do every other day. The next thing I want to talk about is what I've been eating. At first, I would have chips, desserts, and popcorn. I didn't think anything of it but having to stay home and be confronted with yourself, you find things you want to change and make better. I noticed I was bloated more and eating mindlessly because what I was eating didn't fill me up. It was empty calories. Now don't get me wrong, I still treat myself to Taco Bell or McDonald's but within reason and on my cheat days (2 days per week). So in the morning around 11, I have a brunch that consists of; toast with avocado or peanut butter, a hard boiled egg, the carnations breakfast drink https://www.amazon.com/Carnation-Breakfast-Essentials-Chocolate-Packets/dp/B0037YXQMA
, and garbanzo beans (1/2 cup) or tuna (only once a week since you're not supposed to have it that often. Then in the afternoon, around 3, I'll have a snack. I usually have a babybel cheese, chobani yogurt or an apple, and then another hard boiled egg. Last is dinner, I usually make something with carbs, veggies, and protein in it. , about 1/2 cup which is plenty, it's so filling. And, that is my routine. I've always tried to be healthy but during quarantine I realized I have all this time to glow up. I've definitely noticed that I'm no longer bloated after meals and I can see my abs again.
